The Gaan Ngai celebration is occured in the months of wakching December or january month and it is celebrtaed by Kabui Nagas The festival iunitiated with a rligious ceremoney on the frst day and the rest with feasts, dance performance and gifts presentations
Ramjan is celebrated by the manipuri muslim in the ninth month on the Hijri year. During this festival, the muslim fasted food , drinks and cigerrates from pre dawn to sun set.
Lui Ngaini is clebrated by the nagas on the 15h day of february every year. It is a seed sowing festival.
SANAMAHI CHENG HONGBA
The sanamahi cheng hongba festival of manipur is a ritual festivals of the meetei community and is celebrated on the full mooon day of June or JUly ( Inga ). It is mainly celebrated as offering rice and other food items to the diety.
Ningol chakouba
In ningol Chakoub Ningol (Married sister) are invited to the parental home along with kids and enjoy big meals together. In meal like fish, chicken, vegetable, etc.
And dakhina piba is also done , as a small offerings to sister and their children. On the second day of the new moon in the manipuri calendar month of october or November Hiyangei.
YAOSHANG FESTIVAL OF MANIPUR
Unlike the holi, yaoshang festival of manipur has a unique taste an it commence from the full ooon day of phalgum i.e feb or marhc. In this occassion thabla chongba dance are also performed to represent the unity of manipur.
